Dear all,

We are pleased to officially announce the upcoming FIWARE Summit event,
that will take place in Málaga, December 13th–15th, 2016.

This will be the first of a series of bi-annual events that the FIWARE
Foundation will run, as a mean for the members of the FIWARE Community to
meet periodically. The first FIWARE Summit will kick-off a new stage for
our open Community.

The first FIWARE Summit will be hosted by the City of Málaga. It is
expected that upcoming FIWARE Summits will take place in different
countries, as FIWARE keeps moving forward, going global.

This event will gather developers, users, companies, cities, accelerators,
researchers, public authorities and non-profit organizations in 3-day
event. The first FIWARE Summit will be organised in several tracks that
will run in parallel during the three days:

   - A FIWARE Community track where members of the FIWARE Community will
   meet to coordinate activities
   - A Developer's track, targeted to developers inside and outside the
   FIWARE Community
   - A Conference track to hear the voice of the experts and the testimony
of early adopters and users, demonstrating the potential of FIWARE

More details about the schedule for the event and registration will be
announced next week.

Please forward this announcement and help us to spread the word.

Don’t hesitate to contact the Press office if you any question or doubt,
