Dear i4Trust mentors,

THE ultimate goal of the i4Trust initiative is to build a Community
around usage of the proposed i4Trust framework as basis for creation of
Data Spaces.

i4Trust Open Calls are indeed just an instrument to kick-start the
creation of such community, bringing incentives for pioneer adopters.

DIHs are expected to play a role in the Community not only to get
involved in the particular experiment they are participating but to
become a) ambassadors of i4Trust within their networks, b) participate
in the technical support, not only to the experiments they are involved
in but also SMEs in their networks that may wish to use i4Trust.  For
this, they should appoint a person which is referred as "Local Expert in
B2B Data Sharing" (LEBDS) that should become a certified i4Trust expert.

That is why one of the KPIs you have seen was defined in the
Individual Mentoring Plan (IMP) template
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x6K1i6pSvx9zvdTRBbGXhnT_pj30KFx4EIeDzY8URhs/edit?usp=sharing>,
there was a KPI to be fulfilled in stage 1 on this matter:

At least one certified FIWARE/i4Trust expert by partner involved in
    implementation

DIHs are expected to get involved in the experiments providing one of
these "certified FIWARE/i4Trust experts", namely their appointed LEBDS.

DIHs and actors involved in implementation of the software in
experiments received a complete training during the Training Camp we
carried out end of January. *Now mentors should push DIHs to certify
their LEBDS* (and also offer developers from SMEs involved in software
development of the experiments to get such certification). *Goal should
be to get this certifications done by end of March, latest before April
8th*. Reason is that we will need to submit a deliverable similar to the
one we created to report about the first list of LEBDS
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/19zvm5nCrk6wBXgdnlwntsroO27G1T2i7/view?usp=sharing>
latest before Eastern (i.e., by April 13th). You can check this
deliverable to learn how the process was implemented and even share it
with your experiments.   You can also ask Jason Fox for further details.

   Cheers,
