[I4trust-technology-foundation] Resuming i4Trust technical activities - Setting up i4Trust experimentation, framework

Dear all,

   First of all, let me first wish that you have had a nice and healthy 
entrance into the new year 2021 !!   Let's hope this will be the year in 
which we will leave COVID-19 behind ...

   Despite I have copy some of you explicitly in this message, I did it 
only to avoid this message passed unadvertised.  Please let's use the 
list for further exchanges on technical matters.

   We have to resume our technical activities with the goal of getting 
the i4Trust experimentation framework ready in the defined milestone, 
that is end of March 2021.

   As a reminder, activities that have to do with setting up the i4Trust 
experimentation framework (which maps to WP1 of the i4Trust DoA 
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/15v0GxoUmtK_v4OgD68ELa-fquO4h11l2/view?usp=sharing>) 
are the following in this first 6-months phase (see GANTT for the fist 
12 months

in the overall i4Trust presentation):

  * Integration of FIWARE and iSHARE enablers (this maps to Task 1.1
    "Readiness of B2B Data Sharing Enablers" which FIWARE Foundation leads)
  * Train-the-trainers program (this maps to Task 1.2, led by iSHARE
    Foundation)
  * On-boarding help-desk (this maps to Task 1.3, led by iSHARE Foundation)
  * DIHs activation (this maps to Task 1.4, led by FIWARE Foundation)
  * Industrial Value Chain Advisory Board (this maps to Task 1.6, led by
    FIWARE Foundation).

   Note that there is Task 1.5 which has to deal with development of the 
i4Trust Community of Practice but this is a task that will start 
precisely when the fist three have delivered a first version of the a) 
technology framework, b) the train-the-trainers program and c) the 
on-boarding help desk.

   During the meeting this Thursday, let's revise the above mentioned tasks:

  * Regarding the integration of FIWARE and iSHARE enablers, let's
    review where we are taking the PoC as basis: we shall be finalizing
    how the PoC would work using FIWARE technologies as they are and now
    we shall start evolving components to comply with iSHARE
    specifications.   @Dennis please prepare this part.
  * Regarding the "Train-the-trainers program" and the "On-boarding
    help-desk", it would be great if Rajiv you could bring a plan how we
    can focus these tasks.   Some inputs I believe that need to be taken
    into consideration:
      o We should design the train-the-trainers materials as to avoid
        replication of material from iSHARE or FIWARE side, otherwise
        keeping things up-to-date/synchronized would be a nightmare.  
        Probably it will mean creating a Table of Contents for i4Trust
        where, for specific chapters, we simply provide the link to the
        relevant iSHARE/FIWARE training material.
      o Regarding tools for the on-boarding help-desk, we shall leverage
        on the mechanisms that the i4Trust Community platform, based on
        the FundingBox platform, offers.
  * I will come with inputs regarding DIH activation and the Industry
    Value Chain Advisory Board.

   In the meantime until Thursday, let's exchange about any questions 
you may have, initial thoughts, etc.   You may capture in the 
pre-minutes of the meeting the information to discuss at the meeting.
