Scope and objectives of the proposed Action:Standardization of Models to Speed up Open Data (SODA) aims at boosting the open data economy by providing standardized high-value datasets in real-time. The development, fully based on CEF building blocks (Context Broker), focuses on proving that it can be performed in real-time. The project will create several software packages that allow on one hand the transformation of original real-time data sources into standardized NGSI compliant data streams and on the other hand, these streams will be checked for their compliance with the standardized data models, and if successful a third package prepared for their ingestion into the European Data portal (or other portal based on DCAT-AP). A real-time facility based on machine-learning algorithms provides real-time decision support for policymakers on the two areas of the pilots. Mobility data for public transportation and meteo data for precision agriculture. Finally, a testing resource for service developers will provide not only the data already available but random datasets compliant with standardized data models in order to check their services under development or improvement. New standardized data models will be created for the new types of datasets without a former data model available. These data models will be preserved and curated after the project's end by the Smart Data Models Initiative run by FIWARE foundation together with TMForum and other organizations. An analysis of the impact on the current stakeholders (data producers, service developers and data consumers, including public administrations) will be run together with some dissemination activities, including an online hackathon on the real-time standardized data. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
