[Fiware-apps] Backup material for the FIWARE Educational Sessions

Dear Uwe, dear WP3 colleagues,

I have just shared in Dropbox a .mov video edited by my colleague Rafael
with a demo of the current state of our activity regarding the integration
of the WireCloud mashup platform with the FIWARE's Marketplace and Store
APIs, as well as with the linked-USDL notation.

For this purpose, as agreed during our last confcalls, we have developed
three new widgets (VCard-based contact list, VCard-based contact info and
chat dialog) and a number of operators (wrappers) to allow end users to
easily create a mashup and interact not only with TI's sms service but also
with Tweeter, Google Chat, etc. The mashup is aimed at allowing end users
to collect "instant messages" from a number of heterogeneous sources (sms,
tweeter, google chats, etc.) and present them coherently (from a timeline
viewpoint) in a single widget representing a multi-source conversation with
a colleague that, in turn, can be chosen from a VCard-compliant contact
list. The contact list widget can take the contacts from any available
VCard-compliant source (provided that there exists an operator for that
source). We are preparing such an operator for Google Apps.

My colleagues Álvaro and Francisco are about to finish the coding and
testing so as to make available to the UC projects (and to you all) a
living demo in a dedicated installation of the Wirecloud platform. We
expect to have it done by tuesday.

The final video will be made available by tuesday morning, Rafael is now
editing the reminder of the video to show how the end user composes the
mashup by wiring the three widgets and by piping them with available
operators that wrap the source services (TI sms service, Twitter REST API,
etc.). Finally, the end user can share the new mashup with other users by
publishing it in the Wirecloud catalogue and by publishing it in the
marketplace through an available store.

We also want to record, edit and share another video focusing on the
capabilities of the Wirecloud mashup platform itself.
