Dear Uwe,

I am extremely surprised on your previous e-mail that my colleague Miguel brought to my attention, as long as I am not in the apps mailing list.

The two editions of the 'FI-PPP Software Architects week' are the result of an agreement in the architecture board in order to face the serious comments of the reviewers highlighting the lack of actual technical cooperation and potential integration between FI-Ware platform and UCs architectures/scenarios.

Presential attendance is not an option as you seem to pop up in your mail. GE owners are expected not only to present their components but also as many UC sessions as they can to look for sinergies and potential exploitation paths.

The only presentation given remotely over skype in the first edition means the only exception and cannot be used as a reference at all. In the event nobody can represent a specific GE, the chapter leader is expected to take the lead (completing it or not with a remote session, mainly in case connectivity fails as the volunteering host cannot guarantee this).

In the second edition more than 57 UCs attendees wil phisically go to Madrid to have f2f discussions and pave the way for real cooperation paths. I hope FI-ware GEs will be well represented too and UCs will jot point out specific GEs/chapters not willing to cooperate.
