[Fiware-apps] Managing bug-fixing and package reworking on the backlog system

Hi All,

Regarding questions about backlog items and how to account for
activities like bug-fixing, working on packages and so on:

In general, guidelines defined on the private wiki
<https://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-private/index.php/Backlog_items_patterns#Packaging>
are to be followed.

There is a pattern dedicated to packaging. Actually this is a bit
general, so if you feel you would like to have more precise
specification of package-related activities, please do not hesitate to
drop me a line: I will collect new requests and send them to Manuel, so
that this pattern can be extended and detailed.

As for bug fixing, there is an entry type for bugs- as you know for sure.
When you fix bugs and release patched code, Manuel suggested you simply
follow the usual procedure. From the backlog perspective, it does not
make any difference whether you are fixing bugs or adding features to
the code. So you can release a new version after fixing bugs following
the usual sprint and release schema
<http://forge.fi-ware.org/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Releases_and_Sprints_numbering>.

I guess one activity that is slightly different is working on the demo.
Maybe we can wait until we have more details on this topic, then ask how
to handle this on the backlog.

In case my answer did not covered all the cases you are facing, please
do let me know.

Thanks,

     alessandra
