Hi All,

I've made some updates to the HLDesc, including some comments & TODO's
annotated with <AG> ... </AG>, in red. See attached (also available at
http://forge.fi-ware.eu/docman/view.php/7/107/FIWARE+HLDesc+Cloud+v0.4.doc
)

Please, take a look at the sections that you are contributing to, and send
an updated version by the EOD, Wednesday. Also, please, include your
contribution to the "terms" and "question marks" sections.

There is one particular topic that I would like us to discuss (via email,
for a start), which is the support for compound services that include IaaS
resources (VMs), as well as compound services that include PaaS resources
(e.g., application containers, DB, etc). Right now they are described in
two GEs -- "compound service hosting" covering the IaaS-based services,
and "application container hosting" covering PaaS-based services. However,
the way I understand the new architecture that we want to promote is that
it would include a unified compound services layer, that can include
PaaS-level and/or IaaS-level resources. If this is the case, then the
"service layer" details should be merged and placed into the "compound
service hosting" GE -- while the PaaS GE should focus on individual
containers and the services they provide to application developers.
Would appreciate your thoughts on this (especially TID, who lead both
GEs).

One more thing: there is a holiday in Israel on Tuesday-Wednesday, so I
will need to cancel our weekly call. I will be out starting Tuesday and
until the end of the week, but will try to monitor email.

Thanks,
Alex
