Hi Alex, Juanjo some comments.

Slides 2
• Goal: support life cycle management and composition and multi-VM workloads (services) together with provisioning of Cloud Storage containers: definition, provisioning, elasticity and QoS, etc
• An emerging DMTF IaaS API (CIMI) together with OVF plus extension is considered as the main candidate API in which we are contributing in its standard definition.
* Additional capabilities include cloned of VMs, elasticity management of Services, which include management of VM, network capabilities and storage, based on defined rules, rules processing to cope with elasticity.

Slides 3
* Goal: Leverage the results from 4CaaSt project together with the development of a PaaS architecture within the FI-WARE. Life management of blueprints, automatically deploy of VM with the appropriate platform and probes need to execute services.
* Built on top of the IaaS SM infraestructure.
* An emerging DMTF IaaS API CIMI together with OVF plus PaaS extenssion is considered also as the main candidate API.
* Development target by the second year deliverable.

Slides 6
* IaaS DCRM: I do not understand why we put there collectd?
* Monitoring: ¿Rocksteady? Is ir described in the wiki? I do not see collectd which is described in the wiki... And Drools?
* Self Service and Programatic Interface: reference to Openstack Dashboard do not describe in the assets and not inclusion of Ruby on Rails
* Security?

Slides 8
Although, currently no partner has been identified who will responsible for building the monitoring framework, both INTEL and TID was working in the specification of it.

Slides 12
* Accounting and Billing
* Inter-Cloud Broker? well excuse me but i do not know if i hear it before.
* Advanced Monitoring, the decision is not taking if we move to a open call or not.
* Service composition tool? What does it mean?

I would like to have more time to send feedback but I do not have more time due to I read the email today and I had to review.

Hi Alex,

  Thanks. I see it rather close to final. Some comments:

 * Saying that "Cloud Infrastructure is the Foundation of the Core Platform" is a bit too much ... In the "FI-WARE Overall Vision" of the FI-WARE Product Vision we say that Cloud Hosting is "the fundamental layer which provides the computation, storage and network resources, upon which services are provisioned and managed" ... sounds like a bit more fair ... don't you think so ?
 * I believe you should skip on "Innovation Areas" because was not part of the template. However, I feel like much of its contents could go into the "Target features for the 1st Release" (note that I changed a bit the title in the last template I distributed)
 * Contents of the High/Lows slide may need further discussion but we can leave this for the rehearsal meeting

  Cheers,

-- Juanjo
