Hi all,

Here are the notes of our last confcall. Sorry for the delay in sending them but I'm in an off-site with limited connection.

As you know, we mostly focused the confcall on discussing the agenda of session during Wednesday and Thursday morning next week, during the plenary meeting in Turin.

I will send later this evening or tomorrow morning a more concrete agenda with time slots, etc. This is an AP on me.

It was commented that one of the slots of the plenary on Tuesday will be devoted to show a demo about the tools we are going to adopt for managing creation and lifecycle of entries in the FI-WARE Backlog. Therefore is quite important that you attend that day. As a reminder, the plenary starts at 14:00 on Tuesday 13.

Now, coming back to the agenda, here it is the basic structure discussed:

1. Wednesday (09:00am - 12:00pm), Joint meeting with IoT.

The idea is trying to find out what reference architecture is taking shape in the IoT chapter and find out what role some of the Data/Context Management GEs may play in such architecture. Roughly, the agenda may be:
- Presentation by IoT Chapter on working Reference Architecture for the chapter
- Presentation by Data/Context Management Chapter on IoT-relevant GEs: AP on Juanjo to circulate current draft he has develop
- Joint discussion

People from WP3 (Apps/Services ecosystem and delivery WP) may also join because similar discussion may apply regarding discussion on process management technologies being proposed as GEs.

2. Wednesday after lunch (or after 12:00, then continuing after lunch)

2.1 Presentation on assets

All in charge of an asset being proposed have to come with a 20m presentation for the asset: AP on all to prepare presentations
** first part elaborating on details beyond what is already in the HLD document
** devote final part to elaborate on Backlog Entries (should be related to roadmap of the
     asset)

2.2 Joint discussion (first part)

We will carry out a technical discussion on identified issues. Preliminary list of issues:

+ Interconnection among GEs
+ Gaps in the envisioned architecture: Data Gathering
+ Localization Service
+ Query Language, relationship between the Query Broker and the Query features of the
  Publish/Subscribe Broker
+ Another question marks raised in the FI-WARE High-level Description document

3. Thursday Morning

3.1 Joint discussion (second part)

Finish with any discussion on open points if needed

3.2 Review Backlog definition process
We may allocate some time to parallel sessions to perform detailed work and make progress on the Backlogs of some
of the GEs, however, priority will be given to close any discussion

ATOS raised that we may need some time slot to clarify issues on Backlog/Agile (what is an EPIC, User Storie, Hints, etc). Juanjo explained that there will be a dedicated time slot in the plenary of the first day (Tuesday Sept 13). Besides this, Juanjo will circulate an email to the team and the rest of WPLs/WPAs elaborating on the matter and providing additional hints.
