Hi,

All these kind of decisions should actually be discussed at project level.

  Best regards,

Dear all,

I guess we should use UML however we should discuss this with the rest of the project.

Cheers,
Hans

Dear all,

I confirm also from our side the wide usage of the UML as reference modelling language in EU projects

Best Regards,

Pasquale

Oggetto: [Fiware-i2nd] Modelling Language for interface definition and specification

Dear Pierangelo, all,

starting from the preliminary description of the interfaces described in D2.2.a, at UNIROMA1 we are going on with the work and we are now going to describe some of the introduced interfaces with more details.
I think that a modelling language could be very useful for the definition and the specification of the interfaces and the functionalities they provide, thus I wonder which modelling language we can use, and I think that the it would be good if, at least at WP7 level or at task level, we agree on the same language.
In my experience in EU projects, the UML has always been used, so I think we could use it also here. But please tell me what do you think about that and if you think that a different modelling language is more suitable for interface definition.

Best regards
Marco
