[Fiware-i2nd] Mind Map of All Epics in WP7

Dear all,

I checked the useful  mind map which Chris has circulated to us, looking for potential functional overlaps.

Regarding tasks 7.3 and 7.4, I do not identify (presently) any overlap with the functions located in the cloud proxy.
Regarding  task 7.1, some functions implemented in devices may also be implemented in the cloud proxy, in particular functions which could be realized on the cloud proxy on behalf of an end user.
Main of these are in my view listed in the following epics:

-          Personal data services : this information may be duplicated on the cloud proxy so that it is always accessible (to a fiware application), even when the end-user is not connected. It may encompass shared data (like personal pictures or files).

-          User profile : the cloud proxy may connect to a cloud service on behalf of an end-user (for a back ground task like a data backup for instance).

-          Subscriber privacy protection : the cloud proxy, which potentially may host code downloaded from cloud application, has also to authenticate the code source.
In this list of three topics, however, the two first are not related directly to the cloud proxy itself, but related to applications which may run on the cloud proxy. For these two cases, the overlap is mainly due to the fact that we can consider the cloud proxy as an end device. In that sense, device sensors may be added in this list.

The last topic (subscriber privacy protection) is related to the cloud proxy specific functions : when requiring the possibility to download code in a virtual container on the cloud proxy, the application has to authenticate and provide a requirement list in term of access to the home network resource. The mechanism has not yet been defined but it could be nice to have equivalent authentication mechanism if possible. Note also that this authentication function of the cloud proxy has been identified as being relevant for WP4 as far as  it concern the cloud proxy management (epics : service platform manager).
