Hello All,

I am Chris Woods a new researcher with Intel. I am new on this project so, just wanted to introduce myself virtually on the email list.

A little bit about me: My background is in software development across both the cloud and mobile devices.
I have previously worked as a Program Manager at Microsoft on Windows Azure Infrastructure, delivering software components for Azure, including high availability automated DNS APIs and analysing Microsoft's cloud monitoring and reliability. While at Microsoft I also worked on mobile adaptive rendering for Hotmail, Bing, and MSN. I released one of the few Microsoft Open Source projects, for enabling for mobile device detection.

Prior to Microsoft I held development positions in the mobile industry working at Symbian on the PIM database, and designing Wi-Fi APIs, delivering training courses to Nokia on Symbian development, and creating Linux, Windows, and Symbian device drivers for Wi-Fi and NAND devices.

More recently I have been involved in Android development, creating mobile and cloud applications for social networking integration, and encountering some of the issues I hope I too able to address here.

I am delighted to join the project and look forward to working with you all.

All the best,
Chris
