Hi Thomas,

just a little comment about the network virtualizer in the section Second Major Release (3Q 2013):
"Network Element Virtualizer: The Network Element Virtualizer provides the building blocks for monitoring and configuring a virtual transport network, abstracting, partitioning and aggregating physical network element resources (EPIC: NetworkResourceControl). The Network Element Virtualizer implements a Network Resource Controller, a software layer that transforms instances of virtual resources in physical resources and vice-versa. The following features of the Network Resource Controller will be delivered in the first major FI-WARE release:"

Probably it is to be updated with "second major FI-WARE release"

Best Regards,

Pasquale

Hi Pier!

I've made a first attempt to transfer the info from the tech roadmap page (https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Roadmap_of_Interface_to_Networks_and_Devices) into the the file you have indicated below.

Please check, whether this is about ok...

One question remains: shall the new tables replace the current tech roadmap page or shall they be additionally. In the first case, we have now to maintain yet a further page to keep it consistent with the others. In the latter case, the new deliverable contains less information than the rejected one, this is obviously not the intention of the reviewers.

By the way: it would have been much easier to add the links into the existing tech roadmap page. For NetIC, e.g., we already mention explicitely the affected features and EPICs, so only the clickable links are missing.

Best regards,
Thomas

@Pasquale, Andi, Jozsef: please check whether I have included your EPICs and features correctly. I did mention EPICs only in the case that there are still no features for this EPIC; if you think this should be changed please comment accordingly, in the telco tomorrow or by email)

Dear All,

I forward you the first official result of the FI-WARE review meeting, as you'll see it's not particularly enthusiastic.
Today in a WPL/WPA call it was drafted a plan to make sure we're not falling into more severe critical conditions for the project.

The outcomes having a more immediate effect on our activity (we'll discuss them in the PhC on Thursday) are the following:

1) Resubmission of the FI-WARE Technical Roadmap is to be accomplished *this week*. This will consist in incorporating references to the now revised Epics and Features in the Backlog. This would be a matter of adding some tables regarding major releases for each Chapter. If you go to the link https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-private/index.php/FiwareDeliverableD2.4I2ND#Placeholder_for_preparation_of_updated_technical_Roadmap you'll find a set of tables (one for each FI-WARE major release) we have to fill with the Features of each GE which will be available in the specific release. The wiki page is in the fiware-private wiki, but please insert in the table the link to the Features corresponding to the public wiki (i.e. those links you get from the 'Materialising' page: once we move the page to the public wiki the links will automatically point to those Features. If some of you dind't complete yet the update of Features, please complete it asap!!

2) D2.5a: contributions were provided, it's now the turn of WPLs to review the contents, and possibly ask for some improvement. This process will end up with the deliverable released on Aug 10th. It might happen that you'll be asked to contribute these improvements, if necessary

Other points will be discussed in the PhC.

BR
Pier
