Hi All, Many thanks for all the comments about the Technical issues raised by reviewers. I propose to stop here its analysis and I attach the final version to this mail. I'll bring it with me for possible explanations at review, but basically I'll use the slide I already forwarded you in a past mail. Now it's time to tackle another important issue we need to address in the presentation, that is a Risk Management Plan. Reason for doing this is to answer two comments by reviewers, one of them is the following: R[1][2]8. There is a reasonable likelihood that FI-WARE chapters will be unable to achieve all that they would like to. A risk mitigation strategy should be put in place for this, with thought given in advance on how the project plans to prioritise FP7-285248 FI-WARE, resources if insufficient resources are available to cope with all planned work. This is expected to be documented in deliverable D1.1.2. The consortium is reminded that effort and funding allocations in the DoW are indicative and not sacrosanct. Within WPL/WPA PhC we agreed to create a risk management document, including the risks from more general to more specific ones, i.e. concerning single WPs. Hence we need to contribute to the list of possible risks we can encounter, in this case those strictly related to WP7 topics, and possible ways to overcome them. Note that inside the DoW, at pages 222, 223 there is already a more general list of risks, so I expect to contribute with more specific technical risks in the WP activity, which are not yet listed there. BTW, you can find the DoW inside folder 'FI-WARE management' of the Forge documentation https://forge.fi-ware.eu/docman/?group_id=7 Can you provide me your to have asap a consistent list? I have attempted to sketch a short list of possible risks in the I2ND_Risks.doc attached, please use it to insert your contribution, then I'll adapt it to a template (not available at the moment). I believe that one specific question raises now: do we want to consider cameras and/or their evolution as one of the connected devices which can support the CDI GE? This is the main issue I see at the moment, and personally I'm not sure whether this would be the best option or not. I usually assimilated cameras to 'things' (although not as small as sensors), and we have shown this at the educational weeks. However, also during those sessions questions on cameras support were raised, hence we definitely need to tackle the issue. To all the I2ND Members: please use the document by Vincenzo sent with his mail, as basis for inserting further comments (with 'track changes' on), thanks. For each I provided an additional comment to yours, trying to identify a potential countermeasure. To be honest I do not think I got 100% the reviewer's point of view. However I did my best to provide a response to his feedback. Please have a look at it and provide your thoughts about the issues reported there, and what would be the answers we can provide during the review (a slide will be devoted to show our feedback to the issues). You can find in the Word document attached my first comments. As said, I need to receive the comments by Thursday 14, thanks. Thanks and BR Pier P.S.: The reviewers make reference to pages (e.g. 285) of the Architecture Deliverable (D2.3a) in pdf format, you can find it in the Forge documentation. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Telecom Italia Pierangelo Garino Innovation & Industry Relations - Research & Prototyping Via G.
