There are four different kinds of Use case project: - Projects, which want to have plain connectivity through traditional access - This is not part of I2ND - Projects, which are looking special solutions such as peer-to-peer- ad-hoc-networks, etc. - They cannot be provided by I2ND - Projects, which have special requirements - They have to be identified, therefore we have the educational weeks. I guess, we will have more requests, after the educational weeks because we have understood what they are doing and how we can support. - Projects, which have no idea, since they do not need network connectivity or will set-up they own overlay network. There are surprisingly few references to Telecom networks (and nearly none about I2ND). In most cases they probably assume that an IP layer and a DNS are ready to be used everywhere at a very low rate (or free). Sometimes they even mention mesh and ad hoc networks, which are IMO not in I2ND scope. In a few cases they are interested by security and privacy on Telecom networks. Often they discuss about "cloud" maybe without realizing this is also a Telecom subject (at least to reach the cloud). Better understanding what "cloud" means for us and having a set of functionalities for that, may be a way to increase I2ND visibility and awareness. The most interested project in Telecom networks seems to be the Smart Agri Food UC project.
