Dear Task/GE Coords, the first step , that is creation of the new Open Specifications pages, is nearly over! You can access them through the 'cockpit' page on the fiware-private wiki (BUT the landing pages are on the public one!): https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-private/index.php/Open_specification_resubmission_cockpit The links for I2ND are at the bottom of the page: you'll see that the 'Auto-generated Status' column gives some feedback on the situation of the page. Also the second step is more or less complete, i.e. restructuring of the original Architecture pages of our GEs. This has been done according to the following instructions, sent by Juanjo this morning: 1. You should include a Copyright section which lists the copyright holders --> Done 2. You should include a Legal Notice section which incudes a reference to the Legal Notice that applies to your GE specifications --> Done (Thomas, is this ok in NetIC page?) 3. You should include a description of the intended use/role of the GE in the Introduction section of the FI-WARE Architecture Description wiki page itself. You can reuse the information already provided in the FI-WARE_Product_Vision in section "Target usage" of your chapter/GE, but please duplicate the current information. --> Done except for NetIC. But check its consistency with other sections and against guidelines (see below). 4. Create a new page on the wiki named as FIWARE.OpenSpecification.Details.<chapter-name>.<ge-name>, where the contents of the "Open Specifications" section in the Architecture Description wiki page will be copied. --> Done for CDI and S3C. Other two GEs please add it. 5. Drop the section "Open Specifications" that was there within the wiki page associated to the Architecture Description (you have copied its contents now in the new FIWARE.OpenSpecification.Details.<chapter-name>.<ge-name> page) --> Done for CDI and S3C. Other two GEs please add it. 6. On the RESTful open API specification of your GE the Intended Audience needs to be revised it should be changed to address reimplementers as potential target users: "This specification is intended for both software developers and <any other potential user if applies>. For the former, this document provides a full specification of how to "This specification is intended for both software developers and reimplementers of this API. For the former, this document provides a full specification of how to <explain-1>. --> To Be Done (maybe adapted to our API style) The 'global' guidelines (including those at the point 1-6 above) are available at page https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fi-ware-private/index.php/Open_specification_resubmission_template I kindly ask you to: - Re-check what I did already, against the guidelines, and provide feedback, or adjust things in case there is some mismatch - Complete the restructuring of the 'original' Architecture pages now half restructured based on the rules above (and what I didn't do yet myself) - Check and try to make your page as much uniform to the template as possible. Of course, concerning the APIs non-REST we can tolerate differences, as it was always done so far. - Provide if possible a the specific FIWARE.Glossary.I2ND.<GE-Name> that will be automatically included in the Open Specs page - Please notice that the new Open Specs pages are using the 'template' and inclusion features, therefore you'll see they are rather empty, because the original text is in the included pages. - A ticket on the I2ND tracker has been assigned to you, to take care of this activity. You can move the ticket to the 'Under execution' status, to reflect the fact you're performing this activity. Meanwhile, I'll ask news about the feedback on second peer review, which is not yet available...
