Dear All,

I started using the procedure reported in the mail below by Gianmario, and some of you (Jozsef, Matthias, Lorenzo, Thomas,...) should have received a mail from i2nd-backlogmanagement at forge.fi-ware.eu notifying that a ticket assigned to you was modified (well, most have been assigned to you right now).

Basically I assigned a number of tickets concerning updates to the catalogue, in each of them I described what should be done. Most have been scheduled for next Sprint, while few of them should be addressed in the current one as they imply minor modifications. In case you have troubles in managing those items please let menu know. In case you have already a specific ticket concerning the same topic, please let me know: I would suggest in those cases you close the specific ticket and keep only the one I assigned to you.

BR
Pier

Oggetto: [Fiware-i2nd] Backlog: Editing Actions and Backlog4Dummies

Dear All,
Pier and me have defined a procedure to share and accelerate the required editing in the backlog.
The main idea is to use the "backlogmanagement" e-mail notification, as explained by Pier in the last I2ND Call of Thursday 21st.
We have successfully checked that e-mail are always sent to both the assignee and to the submitter of a ticket.

We propose the following:

· In the next days we'll check and fix as much ticket as possible that require obvious editing, inserting comments about what has been done.

· You'll receive a "backlogmanagement" e-mail; check the line(s) with ">" to see what modifications were applied to your ticket.

· Important: when an action is required by the assignee, we'll add the leading sentence "Editing Action required" in the comment field . Check and edit these tickets according to the instructions following that sentence.

I've also prepared a short 7-slides to summarize the most important backlog rules adopted, I2ND Backlog for Dummies (editing the backlog usually requires a positive mood).

Gianmario
