[Fiware-i2nd] Update of I2ND Technical Roadmap

Dear All,

as we already discussed in the PhC last week, we need to take care more in detail of the Backlog and Technical Roadmap concerning the different chapters in the project.

In order to rapidly provide an update to the Tech Roadmap issue, I have modified the layout of the I2ND technical roadmap page at http://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Roadmap_of_Interface_to_Networks_and_Devices which is now structured in the following way:

I kindly ask the Task/GE Coords, with the support of the whole Team, to do the following:


1)      Adapt the contents of section 4.1 'Second Major Release': this is the old contents which was originally the first section, and it requires an update, because we used everywhere the future tense (this GE will provide Feature X, Y, Z,...), while these Features are now already available; therefore please convert to present (or past) tense. While doing this, please also check carefully that all the Features listed there are really available in the implementation. If there are inconsistencies, please let me know.

2)      Populate Section 2.x for each GE (including the common table at 2.5), clearly defining the Features that will be implemented within the evolution of Release 3 from minor release 3.1 to 3.3.

a.       Please remind that the Features you describe in this page must be already present in the 'Materialising page' of the wiki. This has been told now for two years, so it should be well known: if you don't do this, e.g. you add new Features in tech roadmap only, then new inconsistencies will be generated between the different views in the wiki.

b.      If you need to describe new Features for your GEis, please add them first in the 'Materialising' page (http://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Materializing_the_Interface_to_Networks_and_Devices_%28I2ND%29_in_FI-WARE ), then 'assign' it to a given minor release in the Tech Roadmap.

c.       In case of doubt on whether a Feature will be implemented or not in a specific release, take a conservative approach, i.e. assign to a later release.

d.      Be careful when assigning the Features to the releases: there will be a more strict control over the activity carried on, through the Backlog checks which are now becoming more accurate, and in case of inconsistencies the owners will be required to provide an explanation on that situation.

3)       For the development of new Features you might have planned beyond the FI-WARE Release 3 timeframe, add a description in Section 3 (it would be practical if you add a sub-section for your GE).
