[Fiware-i2nd] R: I: [Fiware-wpl] Roadmap about to be delivered - incorporate any pending changes, please

Dear All,

I'm sorry I made a wrong assumption concerning the modifications concerning R3.3 for the stopped GEis. I have tried to re-establish the situation as it was before my modifications, except for those cases where there were heavy updates which introduced however soma additional point to be addressed (i.e. NetIC).

So for GEis for which a stop is pending the rule is the following (see IoT roadmap page as comparison):

- Features originally planned for Release 3.3 stay in the roadmap, *but* under the 'title' 'Release 3.X'

- The following sentence is added: 'These features will be considered in coming releases but not in R3.3'

Note that this applies to S3C, while for other GEis it shouldn't have specific impacts.
I wait a feedback about NetIC by Thomas, we are already in contact through another thread of mails (I have added back the OFNIC features, if you don't see them try with a refresh of the page or by emptying the cache of the browser).

Sorry again for the confusion.

BR
Pier

Dear GE Coords,

Concerning the message by Miguel below, I introduced some changes to the technical Roadmap, which I want to check and agree with you before giving a final ok to the delivery.

The most important action is that I removed from R3 table the Features which were declared for R3.3 and should not complete due to EC recommendation to stop some GEi implementations.

As you know this concerns the SW functionalities which should stop, while all other actions (integration, manual completion, support to UCPs) can continue, and will be reflected in the backlog as WorkItem tickets. Although there is not yet a final decision on how to manage such Features, I believe that if we release a deliverable which includes these updates it surely doesn't go in contrast with the recommendation, and eventually we can reintroduce the Features later, if required.

Can you confirm that the modification is agreed, and can you possibly check that the R3 text before the table doesn't require updates as well, to reflect that some Feature has now disappeared.

Thanks and BR
Pier

Dear all,

As you may be aware, the latest issue of the roadmap reflected in the DoW is about to be delivered to the EC. This is basically the information under:

 *   http://wiki.fi-ware.eu/FI-WARE_Technical_Roadmap
Please make sure that the roadmap of your GEs is properly updated and avoid any ugly details (broken links, for instance).

We will take a snapshot on Wednesday at 3pm and will deliver it to the EC.

Best regards,

Miguel
