Dear all,

As discuss during our last weekly meeting, here are the guidelines for the deliverable D2.6.2 to update the State-of-the-Art we provided in the original DoW (in yellow in the attached document). The main idea is not to provide an hundred pages book for the IoT chapter but to include new things which occur since we wrote the DoW. Maybe the initial sub-chapters seem not relevant today but to avoid a hard work revising everything, I propose to keep it as it is and to develop new inputs into 3 categories:

1. General inputs regarding IoT area (and we could describe here especially some standards improvements or new emerging standards)

2. Inputs from other projects of FI PPP (for some of us who were involved in phase 1 projects or are now involved in phase 2 projects => for this second issue, see below)

3. Inputs from other research projects (FP7, Eureka projects or national projects)

And we can add this new content in the 4 sub-chapters we have: IoT Communication, IoT Resources Management, IoT Data Handling and IoT Process Automation.

Based on what we are currently doing, I propose to distribute the work between partners in this way:

* IoT Communciation: Telecom Italia, Fokus

* IoT Resources Management: NEC, Telefonica

* IoT Data Handling: Orange, Atos

* IoT Process Automation: University of Surrey, SAP
Of course we can provide inputs for all sections if we have some to support our partners.
If you feel more comfortable with another section please feel free to comment it but at the end we will have to fulfill every section.

Regarding Phase 2 projects, it was decided during the negotiation phase and then discussed during the Architect week in Madrid that they will share their DoW with us. Telefonica has collected the DoW (except for FITMAN project which wants to sign first the PPP Collaboration Agreement). So we can use their State of the Art to provide a new content. This is also very useful for us to understand what could be their expectations regarding IoT GEs.
You can find these DoWs in the Fi-Ware private project: https://forge.fi-ware.eu/docman/?group_id=27#

Of course there are not Public Documents but we can use them internally because we have signed the Collaboration Agreement!

What about the deadlines?
I would receive your contributions for the 6th of May because I have to consolidate everything for the 7th. Hereunder are the milestones for Telefonica to submit this deliverable to EC and reviewers.

* May, 7 - Contributions from chapters to be sent by email (consolidated in a single doc per WP)

* May, 10 - Peer Review ready (academia partners)

*         May, 17 - Feedback incorporated

*         May, 20 - Delivery

Thanks for your support.
