[Fiware-iot] Agenda for technical meeting in Paris

Hi Carlos,

I’ve checked the meeting rooms in Paris and I do not have any for 20 people, large enough to host the meeting. I propose to maintain the meeting in Paris where we will not be able to manage Orion and IDAS/DCA integration with the other. It will be too short to do the integration with leaving partners (SAP and Fraunhofer) in a physical meeting and we will have to organize this part remotely.

BR
Thierry

PS: I’m on vacation moving my daughter from one city to another one so if you want to reach me use my mobile number (+33 679 850 844) because I will have access to internet only through mobile.

Hi All,

As I've already said to Thierry I have another commitment exactly these 2 days so I cannot attend.
It is also very hard for people in our team because many are on vacations as it is the Easter week.

Is it possible to move the meeting to other dates before April 28th ?

Best regards,

Dear All,
Regarding the integration meeting I would ask each partner to bring the GEs software on their computer. I think would be great if we could connect all the computer through a physical switch and test the integration between the components using a LAN. In my case I would like to avoid to use the version that is running on FI-CLOUD because I am not sure that we could ping or send request directly to the GEs.
In our case the IoT Broker could be contacted only through our lab IP. These mean that we will be not able to send request from an external network.
For us there is no problem to bring the IoT Broker dev version on the laptop.

Best Regards,

- Salvatore Longo

Subject: [Fiware-iot] Agenda for technical meeting in Paris

Hi all,

We have now to prepare the agenda for the integration meeting we have planned in Paris the 14th and 15th of April. What are the main points?

· First we have the integration of Gateway GEs in general (NGSI interface) but also in the Technicolor Box.

· Second, we have the integration of backend GEs (IoT Broker, ConfMan, TemplateHandler and Backend Device Management) with 2 instances of ConfMan

· Third integration between Gateway and Backend from NGSI point of view which would involve Gateway Data Handling (with relevant input from Protocol Adapters) and IoT Broker+ConfMan at least (+TemplateHandler also)

· Fourth integration of ETSI M2M GEs (Gateway and Backend Device Management)

And we should be able to use GEs not only from Gateway to Backend but also from Backend to Gateway to use actuators.

Because this will be the 1st time that we will integrate ETSI M2M, this work has to start on Monday and maybe we can focus the NGSI integration in a first step on Monday with Gateway from one hand and IoT Broker/ConfMan/TemplateHandler in the other hand.

Do you have any other suggestions?
