Please find hereafter the minutes of FI-WARE WP8 Audio conf of today
The Agenda for this audio was settled as:
* Review of progress on Step 1 (as per WP8 planning agreed in Madrid)
* Next Step (Step 2)
* start writing high level description of each of the sections detailing the High level arch
* Information/new of past events
* Next Audio & Meeting

1. Review of Task progress as per Step 1 (see. Objectives)
* Daniel reported the following progress on T8.1
o Each asset attached to Task 8.1 was reviewed and assessed. New information received by TID was processed. An excel file (see attached file) was produced to start refining each of the asset in terms of a number of facets of interest for the Task and WP. This especially for what concerns functionality offered, interfaces (input/output), scalability .... Thanks to this work a number of questions have been raised and Daniel would call to have them answered with help of the partners and assets' owners. In the meantime some information is still missing regarding assets brought by INRIA (Action for INRIA to provide those descriptions to THALES/Daniel). The work engaged would be pursued to be completed as soon as possible to get clear picture on T8.1 assets and how they could be used together to deliver functionalities targeted by this task. This would also go through some bilateral discussions between Thales and other participants especially TID and ATOS to figure out how some of their SIEM related assets could be coupled.
* Report on T8.2
o None of the partners involved in the call were able to report on progress on T8.2
o Action for NSN to report asap progress if any and revive the Task T8.2 team.
* Report on Task T8.3 (Antonio)
o Some slides had been prepared (although not received by the group at the time of the audio) by Antonio (see attached slideset). After in depth analysis of T8.3 assets it appears clearly that all assets are relevant and there is high complementary between Thales and ATOS assets in view of the objectives of Task T8.3. Regarding USDL-Sec brought by SAP, some short abstract is expected to come from SAP (Action SAP/Slim). Antonio will come up with an excel file (comparable to the one initiated by Daniel) for what concerns T8.3.
* Report on Task T8.4 (Slim)
o SAP didn't receive any additional description but had some discussions with INRIA (JY-Marion) but need now to engage in discussion with other (INRIA/Olivier) and TRT-UK (OBSCURE/Richard). SAP will circulate by next Monday a template for assets owners to fill in (this to have full understanding of the assets attached to the task - Similar to what has been engaged by Daniel at T8.1 and that need to be generalized to all Tasks). [SAP actions]
o SAP continue to interact with WP3 and Use Case project (FINSENY) from Security point of view.
2. Step 2:
Pascal reminded objectives of Step 2 (due date 26/05/2011 EOB):
* Advance the Security AT vision stated in DoW (Section 1.1.3.7) in terms of targeted functionalities and value-add fo Business, Society, Economy to have those functionalities. Come up with clear definition of terms used, clear statement regarding functionalities targeted and exemplification through Use Case scenarios that speak to Usage areas of the value-add and innovation which may result of them. (Action Task leaders to coordinate to deliver on time 26/05/2011 EOB for WPL and Task leaders to assemble initial draft of WP8 contrib to D2 enf of May)
* In addition refine the Security AT architecture as detailed in Section B1.1.4.7 (each Task to revisit and propose amendments if any). (Action Task leaders to coordinate to deliver on time)
o Being said WP8 tasks corresponds to the 4 major functional blocks of our architecture it is demanded that each task leader organized the description of each module in sub-module and appoint responsible for sub-sections. (Action for Task leaders to have it done and proposed to WPL and Caretakers by Monday EOB)
* All the above work should be performed having the structure of the deliverable in mind (cf. attached file High-level description). Meaning input should be easily mapped to the structure of the document as announced (see document and guidelines provided). (Action for WPL and Caretakers it would be the case)

3. Reporting on past events
* Presence of Pascal in Budapest
* PCC members present in Budapest met Megan Richard together with Rainer Zimmerman, Peter Fatelnig, Arian Zwegers)
* FI-WARE Steering Board and Architecture Board hold as planned on 19/05/2011 (Waiting for the minutes)
* Security WPL not invited at this meeting despite clear demand
4. Next audio moved to next Friday 27/05/2011 (10:00-12:00)

For the time being it has been decided to go for regular audio conf each Friday 10am-12am
Physical meeting planned on June 3rd has been cancelled. A doodle would be organized to set the new date
Other Actions:
1. SAP - Thales to engage the work on how USDL could be used to describe a security service (take a Thales security asset to exemplify this). [Action Thales-SAP to be engaged asap]. This in order to generalize afterwards to other assets.
2. DTA - to clarify assets that would be brought in the context of T8.4 (also provide textual description according to format expected). Also to interact with SAP on the topic.
3. THA - Organize a doodle to schedule the meeting in Paris (in replacement of the one announced on the 03/06 and cancelled)
4. ALL - to create account on the FusionForge and use it
5. THA - to address issues on the FusionForge to start using it to store/exchange document
