The event is linked to this year’s ENISA project “Ontology and taxonomies for resilience”, being an attempt to provide a classification scheme for resilience of communication networks. The outcomes of the study and the workshop will serve as a basis of further work on technical standardisation of means for providing and managing resilient networks. The workshop will to cover a number of issues, such as: * The impact of resilience on standardisation activities for future networks; * The regulator viewpoint: Why is resilience critical? * The network operator's viewpoint: Addressing resilience at network planning/dimensioning stage; * The manufacturer's viewpoint: How do resilient equipment strategies impact innovation ? * Technology and Research: What are the latest research outcomes and what are the remaining technological challenges?
