[Fiware-security] FI-WARE 2nd peer review of Security Chapter (outcomes and request for actions)

Dear All,

Find attached to this email the outcomes of the 2nd peer review of Security Chapter (Architecture & Open Specifications) which has been performed this time by App Chapter (partner SAP - Andreas Klein - did perform this review).

Based on this review report I will ask each of the GE owners under supervision of the task leads to which belong those GEs to address review comments , perform the necessary corrections and let me and Daniel know once done. Deadline to have it done is by Wednesday 3 EOB.

As for bad assessment we got in view of questions raised on 1.2.4 & 1.2.5 clearly stating that as their our GE description (including Open Spec) are not complete enough to:

1.       allow an application developer to develop applications that will be based on the GE

2.       allow a 3rd party to implement a product in compliance with the GE specifications

It is stated also that "the provided templates are not sufficient to fulfil this purpose. This is not specific problem for this GE, but more a problem which impacts all GEs".

This for me confirms the feeling I got that to have D3-8.1.a be accepted we should consider reviewing the template provided for these deliverables by TID. As you know there is an action for TID to deliver a new template to cover the missing points and so EC concerns that led them to reject our deliverables.

In the meantime I'd like each of you as WP8 partners and especially Task leads (NSN, SAP, ATOS) and Caretakers (IBM) to contribute your view (asap) on the changes you think are needed to address (1) and (2) at least to an extend we could get our deliverable (D8.1.1) be accepted.

Counting on you to address your review actions and send me your suggested changes to D8.1.1 template.
