Hi Pascal,

good your report is perfectly coherent with information reported in the Testbed V2 cockpit wiki page [1] where you can see both GEs already delivered - for which new releases are expected - and completely new GEs (marked with the label "new entry for V2") I have extracted from Roadmap page. In the list put inside the mail I wanted to alert the Testbed team about the amount of "new" GEs exclusively.

As for your feedback I'll provide to update the table of cockpit by adding information about the owners and adding an "optional" label for those you call Optional Security GEs. With regard to the Access Control GE I understand that the decision to add it as a new GE is still pending so we'll wait when discussion will be closed.

Thanks for your feedbacks.

BR,

Paolo

Dear Paolo,

For Security Chapter please notice that GEs for Testbed V2 planned are indeed (btw as reported on the Technical Roadmap)
I also put into brackets the owner of each of the GEs we have.

New release of GEs already delivered for First Major Release:

· Security Monitoring GE [Thales]

· IdM GE [NSN owner for IDM One / DT Owner for IDM GDP]

· Data Handling GE [SAP owner]

· DB Anonymizer (Optional Security GE) [SAP owner]
NB: Secure Storage Service GE - V1: pending delivery - Owner [Thales]

New GEs (aka the ones due for Second Major Release of FI-WARE):

· Privacy GE (fyi : GE to be used in conjunction with IdM GE and Data Handling GE) [Owner IBM]

· Context-based security & compliance GE [Owner ATOS]

A new set of so called Optional Security GEs:

· Malware Detection Service [INRIA owner]

· Android Flow Monitoring [INRIA owner]

· Content Based Security [THALES owner]

Last but not least and for your information: in view of demands coming now from Use Case projects and relayed to us by Juanjo (CA) we may add a new one for Release 2: i.e. Access Control GE. Will let you know when final decision would have been made at the level of Security Chapter, since there are still discussion at the level of the team regarding overall design of that GE (that should be owned by Thales). Keep you posted.

Best Regards,
Pascal

Dear All,

I want to inform all that the new Testbed cockpit wiki page [1] is up and that, from now, GEs owners have to update their information, about both GEs already installed and new ones, in this page.
Basically the structure is not changed excerpt that for a new table field named "Release". In fact, since potentially updates of FI-WARE GEs on the Testbed could occur also after minor release completion or at the end of some sprints, it is useful to indicate which is the actual involved release. In this way, the "progress" field will highlight the installation status of that GE release.
Obviously at the end of the Major Release completion (June 30th 2013), we will have to have all GEs, in the release 2.3.3, with progress value = 80%.

Below a brief summary about the new GEs we will have to install by chapters:

APPS
Registry,
Store
CLOUD
PaaS Management
Monitoring
Self-Service Interfaces
IoT
(Gateway) Advanced Connectivity
DATA
Meta-Data Pre-Processing
Middelware
SECURITY
Privacy
Malware Detection Service
Android Flow Monitoring
Content Based Security

TOTAL......12 new GEs.

BR,

Paolo
