Dear Partners,
this is a reminder for you to create training courses to publish in the eLearning platform.

The manual now is on the public wiki:
https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/How_to_create_a_SCORM_course
(this guide will evolve accordingly to your request of support)

looking forward to see you working on this :-)
Kind Regards,
Davide

Dear Partners,
if you experience some problem in downloading the manual or the packager
using the direct link, I remind you that they are available from the Files section
of the "FI-WARE Private" project.

https://forge.fi-ware.eu/frs/?group_id=27#title_elearning

New versions will uploaded at the same location.

Thank you and
Kind Regards,
Davide

Dear partners,
this message to inform you that the FI-WARE eLearning platform is ready to be used.
Here below a brief description of what we're providing to help you to create your courses.
Files are uploaded in "FI-WARE Private" project (if it makes sense we can move them to
"FI-WARE PPP Restricted")

- Quick guide to the Player WebSeminar
https://forge.fi-ware.eu/frs/download.php/647/Quick%20guide%20to%20the%20Player%20WebSeminar.pdf
This is a quick manual that describes the steps for creating your courses starting from the
fiware-scorm-packager-1.0.zip package. Here are described where to put your files and
how to modify the configuration files.

- fiware-scorm-packager-1.0.zip
https://forge.fi-ware.eu/frs/download.php/646/fiware-scorm-packager-1.0.zip
This is a starting package you can use for creating your own courses. Unzip this package,
put your contents in, configure a couple of files. Zip everything again and you have your
course ready to be published.
During the course creation process you can always run it locally by executing the main htm
file (e.g. TU01_LO01.htm) in your browser to check if you like the curse you are creating.

Once the package is ready you just need to publish it in the eLearning platform.
A manual for how to publish a course is planned to be circulated by next week.

In the meantime who of you that are planning to publish something in the eLearning patform
can take advantage from the auto-register process still available (edu.fi-ware.eu).
Once done, write to fiware-edu at res.eng.it<mailto:fiware-edu at res.eng.it>, specify your username on the platform in order
to obtain the proper role.

Please, circulate this mail to your WPs and to the people that may be interested
in producing courses.

Kind Regards,
Davide
