[Fiware] MAC proposal for

Dear Fiware members

I regret to say the SB of the PPP has rejected the idea of moving MAC to the PPP level. I tried to explain this was a win-win situation and we could all benefit, but unfortunately there were some concerns about the way some projects could handle the money,...

So I decided to forget about this for the moment. I think this is really a pity and is a small synthom of the difficulty to really achieve something at the PPP level. The meetings of the PPP SB remind me of some meetings we used to have in the past ... :-(

I suggest we keep the MAC as we have originally planned and requested by the DoW. (but I fear we shall have to further reduce the number of meetings)

I 'd ask you to make suggestions for names for this MAC. Since we have important budget restrictions, I'd prefer people from EU background

Dear Fi-ware GA

As you know, Fi-ware has a contractual obligation, as stated in the DoW to have a Market Advisory Council. The budget initially foreseen for the MAC is relatively low and, since its activities can also be applicable to other projects in the PPP we are proposing to move the MAC up to the PPP level and convert it into a Working PPP Group

To be approved, it has to be proposed 2 weeks in advance to the Steering board.

The document attached is the proposal we plan to submit to the Steering board. Please have a look and tell me if you have further suggestions or proposals. Otherwise I will send it to the SC for its considerations
