Dear FI-WARE partners, I share this information with the whole consortium because of its relevance to everyone in the project at both technical and business levels. I would like to attract your attention to the fact that by the end of this month all companies should have filled in the forms prepared by WP11 (GE business descriptions). This information is crucial to identify the dependencies between GE for the purpose of integration and therefore use of the project results. We have already seen that some partners have to devote a lot of integration resources to use components of other partners released under FRAND conditions. This is difficult to justify from an exploitation point of view both internally (in our companies) but also towards potential customers of FI-WARE. As a result, I encourage all of you to enter your information in the wiki (being explicit on IPR issues, dependencies and problems at regulatory and legal levels) as early as possible, and by no means later than end of the month. Conclusions will be presented to the PCC as a decision-support tool. All the instructions can be seen below (mail sent by my colleague Juan Bareño, leader of WP11). I also remind you that the first version of the Exploitation deliverable should be ready in M12 (and you can imagine that the EC will make lots of questions about this).
