I was writing this message when I saw Jose's message. I will send it anyway as it is relevant and see that not all people are properly doing this.

ALL events or dissemination efforts must be constantly updated on the wiki on the Communication, Collaboration and Dissemination<https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Communication,_Collaboration_and_Dissemination> section<https://forge.fi-ware.eu/plugins/mediawiki/wiki/fiware/index.php/Communication,_Collaboration_and_Dissemination>:

 *   If someone goes to an event and makes a presentation
 *   If someone publishes a paper
 *   If someone writes a book chapter
 *   If someone has an interview
 *   If someone meets other PPP initiatives: CONCORD, Use Cases, Infinity
 *   If someone makes other dissemination efforts

The efforts that is not properly recorded will not be taken into account in reviews and it would be a pity.

Dear partners,

I would like to share with you that the Infoday organized by the Spanish National Contact Point for ICT (CDTI) to present the First FI-WARE Open Call was very successful.

It was held in Madrid on the 20th of March and the main objective was to present the progress of the project and the contents of the Open Call. This was replicated the following day in a regional Infoday in Malaga.

Around 40 people attended the event and they were active in making questions, which makes us believe that some proposals will come from these partners. These activities of disseminating the project and the opportunities to get engaged into it are very important, but it should be more homogeneous from the geographical point of view. The focus on Spain will trigger comments from the EC claiming that there could be a bias towards Spanish colleagues.

The conclusion should not be to diminish actions in Spain, but to do more in other countries. We are working with CONCORD to get their support but I would like to start asking partners of FI-WARE to be more proactive on this.

We are interested in replicating the Infoday of the Open Call at least in those countries well represented by partners: let’s say Germany, France and Italy. It does not need to happen in all countries for the 1st Call, but at least for the next Open Calls and other relevant milestones of FI-WARE.

Agendas can be reused as well as presentations (below you can see the link to the presentations made by Juanjo and Pepe this week).

Please, contact me to further discuss the feasibility of these actions in each of the aforementioned countries.
