[Fiware] FI-WARE proposal for a working session in FIA Dublin (May 2013)

HI all,

As you probably know, in May 2013 the EC will organize a new edition of the Future Internet Assembly (FIA). This time it will be held in Dublin (you can find further info in http://www.fi-dublin.eu/).

Last year the FI PPP in general and FI-WARE in particular were almost invisible in this event, which is very much surprising being FIA the biggest event where EU research projects meet to discuss about Future Internet. We wanted to address that and we have prepared on behalf of FI-WARE a proposal for a working session.

These workshops have a duration of two hours and there will be 12 along the conference. Deadline is next Sunday 20 January, but I want to submit our proposal by tomorrow.


·         Find attached the document that Carlos Ralli and myself have prepared and have a look at it.

o    If you have any suggestion for improvement send it to me by tomorrow noon (this document follows the template of the conference, but I may have to reduce it to comply with the requirements of the organizers)

·         The session will only be accepted if it has enough support. Therefore, from tomorrow on I will ask you to enter the website and vote for it --> then, disseminate it to your colleagues so that we get external support

This is the only way of getting FI-WARE visible at FIA Dublin.
