[Fiware] IMPORTANT: Deadline for updating the FI-WARE Catalogue

Hi all and particularly FI-WARE GEi owners,

  This is a reminder for you to update the entries for your GEis in the FI-WARE Catalogue, particularly with respect to the new sections and the section on External Availability under the "Terms and Conditions" tab.

  Please be aware that this info will play a key role in the assesment of GEis that the EC and reviewers are carrying out.   In this respect, the EC has informally communicated us that the review of info available in the FI-WARE Catalogue will start December 1st, so you have end of November as deadline for updating the necessary info you wish to be there.

  I would rather advice that you disclose any plans you may have for making your GEi available under an open source license if you haven't yet done so but it's planned during Release 3.   Note that you should specify what concrete open source license you will adopt and, in the event it is a GPL-like license, you should state that it will not have a viral effect on software packaged together with it (check the Consortium or Collaboration Agreement for reference in this respect).

  You should also provide useful contact points for third parties who wish to explore usage of the GEis beyond the FI-PPP.   I mean, placing there a generic email or web site (e.g., pointing to a generic company home website or stuff like that) won't work.   This is info that reviewers are paying special attention to.
