Dear FI-WARE colleagues,

You have probably received the invitation to the 1st European Conference on the Future Internet (ECFI) that will be held on the 2-3 April in Brussels. If not, find the invitation below.

Let me provide some context so that you know what the role of FI-WARE is in this ECFI.

¡¤         General comments

o This is an event organized by the FI PPP as a whole (it is being managed by the Dissemination WG of the PPP through a conference committee; fi-ware contributes to the DWG, but is not included in the organizing committee-I did not get volunteers for that).

o The idea is to have important external audience, even though attendants will be limited to 250

o Programme and details can be found in http://www.ecfi.eu/Brussels2014.

o Early registration until 1st February (205 euro per person); if later: 285 euro.

¡¤         Participation of projects

o    Through conference sessions

o    Through exhibition

¡¤         What about FI-WARE?

o As proposed after the Third Open Call, the Chamber of Commerce (partner of FI-WARE) will organize an event with decision maker, chambers of commerce, etc in Brussels. We have made the proposal of integrating that kind of workshop into the programme

o This appears in the current programme as session 11. Future Internet ¨C Smart Products for a Smart Digital Europe

o    FI-WARE demo @Exhibition --> pending decision

Contact me:

¡¤ If you have questions or doubts

¡¤ If you plan to attend (or have already registered)

¡¤ If you want to promote ideas for the FI-WARE demos in the exhibition area

Thanks!
