Dear TOKENers,

Hope that all of you are doing well, staying safe and maybe despite the
trying times finding a bit of joy in the sunshine of the spring.

I am approaching you with two things related to all partners that we at
Demos Helsinki have been preparing alongside the Policy Observatory and my
colleague Johannes Mikkonen mentioned during the last EB call: 1)
Guidelines for national TOKEN kickoff events and 2) An inquiry for all
partners on topics you would like to write a blogpost/other content about
during this year. Please read the details for each below and do get in
touch if you have any questions!

1) Guidelines for national events

As stated in the proposal, Task 5.5 includes national TOKEN events, one at
the beginning of the project to raise awareness in national contexts of
TOKEN and one at the end for disseminating results. We will provide
guidelines for both and then the responsibility for organising these will
be with the following partners for the following countries:

   -

   FBA - Poland
   -

   FBR – Denmark
   -

   IMEC – Belgium
   -

   MUKA – Greece
   -

   DRI – Finland
   -

   INF – Luxembourg
   -

   AYTOSAN – Spain
   -

   FF – Germany

The original timeline for these national events was in the beginning of the
summer, but with the current situation, it might be advisable to hold off
until the end of August/September. That being said, if you wish to have the
launch event for example as an online event/webinar, you are more than
welcome to. Following the guidelines and the minimum requirements, each
organising partner can plan and execute the events as they wish.

Please find the guidelines that include the requirements and a suggestion
for a structure for the events in this presentation
<https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1vmuk1s1pQJSqgbiXsZQpA_5hHSzQ574Bv1N9UP9k_lo/edit?usp=sharing>.
If you have any questions or would like to for example ball around some
ideas related to the event you will be organising, do get in touch with me
or my colleague Johannes Mikkonen!

2) Inquiry for your inputs for TOKEN content

Related to Task 5.2, we are putting together an initial content calendar,
with the aim of getting out one blogpost/video/etc piece of content at
least once per month. Us and Fiware Foundation will be leading the content
curation, but the exciting task of letting the world know about TOKEN and
also bringing insights from our activities and DLT in transforming public
services is up to all of us. Each organisation will be (in their own way
and from a perspective that interests them) contributing to this.

To get an initial idea on what you would be excited to write/talk about please
fill in this survey <https://forms.gle/81iPmLkaC9MBFmJd8> by Thursday 30.4.

The form doesn’t take a long time to fill and will not obligate you to
anything, but is valuable for us for planning what TOKEN as a whole should
according to all of our views be publishing blogs and other content about.
Also, worry not, we are available for sparring your possible ideas for
blogposts etc further!

Thank you all for your work and also getting through this marathon of a
message. Stay safe and get in touch if we can help with anything or you
have questions related to the above!

All the best,

Johannes
