Dear Andres, I’m forwarding your question to Mats from SnT who is leading this task on behalf of Infrachain. @Mats: Could you get back to Andres on this? Indeed I also think these are very interesting opportunities we should follow up. In the proposed amendment, we re-defined task 1.3, led by INF, including the interaction with these kinds of standardisation bodies as an important role for the project : "TOKEN BCPaaS Interconnections and Governance rules (M1-M36) [Task leader: INF (Linked Third Party: SNT), Partners Involved: ALL]. This task will have a double purpose: on one hand, it will explore the potential connections and associations of TOKEN with third parties organisations related to interoperability and standardization bodies, Internet governance bodies, such as W3C, Decentralised Identity Foundation, Alastria, INATBA, ESSIF or EBSI; on the other hand, it will define the rules that will shape the TOKEN BCPaaS Governance model during the project aiming to prepare accordingly the transition from a project setup to a post-project setup." I believe we would still need to confirm if INF is up to take the lead on this front. @Tom Kettels<mailto:tom.kettels at infrachain.com> any views in this front? Then, taks 1.5, led by FF, also talks about standardisation. TOKEN Interoperability and standardization (M1-M36) [Task leader: FF, Partners Involved: FBA, IMEC, CERTH]. So maybe Har Preet can get involved here too? My suggestion would be that these two partners + FBA as technical partner do an initial follow up and then at the next ebm we can brief the consortium and decide about the next step. But this is just my suggestion, let me know if you think this makes sense or if you have any other suggestion. In addition some proposals might consider participating at the Proof of Concept exercise, please see the email attached. More information: https://www.etsi.org/committee/1467-pdl; Chairman Dr. Diego Lopez and Support Christine Mera are in copy of this message. - CEN/CENELEC is inviting to contribute to new iteration of Blockchain Standardisation White paper of JTC19 “Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies”, more information: https://standards.cen.eu/dyn/www/f?p=204:7:0::::FSP_ORG_ID:2702172&cs=1465AF26367A9ECE85D149F31EF39162E CEN/CENELEC JTC 19 is looking for information about activities of blockchain projects: - Business cases. - Technology advancements. - Integration and opportunities with other relevant technology domains (IoT, AI, 5G, Quantum Computing, HPC, Big Data, etc): What is needed for a successful adoption of blockchains and DLTs in Europe: - Technology development (which are the technical barriers to adoption?) - Business ecosystem (how to create sustainable innovation and products?) - Regulatory landscape (is there something to better understand? Or to change? Are there significant legal risks that obstacle adoption? How legislation could support the adoption ? Which could be the role of standardization) : - Access to finance and innovation services (how to found innovative projects? How to support start-ups and researchers?): Dr. Paolo Campegiani who works with this exercise on the behalf of CEN/CENELEC is in copy. Collaboration with standardisation bodies offers excellent opportunities to contribute towards the take-up of results of your project(s) and enhance dissemination and exploitation activities.
