Dear Token-partners,

We are organizing our national event of Finland on Thursday October 22,
2020, 10.30-12.00 EEST with the title ‘Blockchain Policy for the Future of
Public Services’.

We have been discussing with Karen and Ulich about overlap with postponed
EB-meeting and they were nicely rescheduling it to be held right after our
national event. Thanks a lot!  Now, most of you might be able to join the
event, welcome!

11:10 KEYNOTE: The promise and pitfalls of blockchain in government

Vinay Gupta, Founder and CEO of Mattereum


Vinay Gupta  is a leading figure in the blockchain space, having
co-ordinated the release of the blockchain platform Ethereum in July 2015,
and was strategic architect for ConsenSys Systems, a technology hub
focusing on the Ethereum blockchain and related applications.


11:30 GROUP DISCUSSION

Facilitated discussion in small groups on possibilities and challenges
of blockchain
policies

The event will be held from 10.30-12.00 EEST on Zoom, and include
researchers and practitioners of DLT, government employees and journalists.
