Dear fellow Tokeners, As the spring is growing in intensity every day, so is the second session of the TOKEN Policy Observatory drawing ever closer. This second session, in the shape of a short roundtable and workshop will be held online on Thursday the 29th of April from 9 to 11.30 CET. We would kindly request the participation of at least one person from your respective teams at the event (details below). This Observatory meeting will focus on highlighting current developments in the space of DLT for government and bringing together policymakers, researchers, city digital officials and practitioners to focus on future scenarios of DLT in European cities. The meeting is divided up into a plenary session to share the current developments, break-out sessions to get to know one another and discuss future developments and a plenary closing session. You can find more details in this presentation <https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1198U1u6r8ztSGqZektTtntrMSQ_PYr_guQ9cDt7YqCI/edit#slide=id.gb9ef7eeae4_0_161> . As this is a session aimed at creating connections, shared purpose and co-creation, we have invited a select group of the aforementioned policymakers, researchers, city digital officials and practitioners to participate in this Observatory session. Thus, we have around 20 confirmed names attending, ranging from European commission officials to city CTOs to researchers and doers from within the DLT space. Now what we of course also need is your presence. For you, this is a chance to connect and share thoughts with some crucial players in the field and to together develop the basis for what should be taken into consideration when developing policy for DLT for the future. Your expertise is invaluable for us to be able to showcase the efforts we have taken in TOKEN and to ground the discussion in actuality. We ask that at least one person from your organization sign up to the event with the following form <https://forms.gle/KCAh7E52uL8E5pFz9>. We of course welcome more participants – while maybe not 10 per organization to keep things small enough for discussion :) We’ll be forwarding the calendar invite with the link to the event to those signed up through the form. As said, please do check out the presentation for more details and do reach out to me or my colleague Johannes Mikkonen for any questions! All the best, Johannes PS If you do have someone from especially the policy field you think really would be great to see at this Observatory meeting, do reach out and let’s see if we can make a bit more room! -- *Johannes Anttila* Senior Consultant johannes.anttila at demoshelsinki.fi +358 44 535 1152 @NjAnttila <https://twitter.com/NjAnttila> / LinkedIn <https://www.linkedin.com/in/johannesanttila> *Demos Helsinki – the Nordic think tank* demoshelsinki.fi / Facebook <https://www.facebook.com/DemosHelsinki/> / Twitter <https://twitter.com/DemosHelsinki> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
