Dear Token members As agreed, please find below an extract of the call for papers. As stated, we need to collect 6-10 papers from experts around the world - so we can accept up to 2 papers from the TOKEN team - please consider working in teams in this regard. *Beyond the hype – Blockchain in the real world * This Special Issue will bring together papers on actual experiences of blockchain in government, focusing on questions such as its benefits, costs and risks, and public policy responses. Papers will be collected from experts writing on blockchain applications in different parts of the world, implemented within a variety of sectors and across different levels of government. Contributors will encompass both practitioners and scholars involved in actual applications of blockchain in government and also, in public administration, all with the aim of reinforcing our understanding of the consequences of blockchain, and how best policy can be designed and applied to make the best of this new, disruptive technology. At present, we only require a *tentative title* for the paper, and the *name of the authors*. If you are interested in participating, please send me this information no later than *30th January* to *diego.cagigascastro at unican.es <diego.cagigascastro at unican.es>* Once we have received the abstracts, we will commission full papers (4,000-6,000 words) with a timeline of June or July 2022. If you need more information, please let me know Best wishes Diego UC - Judith's team -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
