Wed May 11 09:35:30 CEST 2022

dear all,

yesterday afternoon, our po answered and set the dates for the project
check to be either on 26th may or on 27th may any time in the day.
personally i cannot in the afternoon of 26th as i'll be travelling. here is
the doodle where to put your preferences. unfortunately, as you can see
from the emails thread, he did not take any care of the email i sent him
on 4th may where i specified our unavailability for 26th and 27th (i
suppose that email passed unadvertised ...).

anyhow, i think this story is already too long, so we cannot change the
dates any longer. please note that regardless the best chosen slot at
least the wp leaders, or their deputy, shall be at the review.
i need your votes by tomorrow eob at latest:
https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/eXDvmBAe

thank you for your kind collaboration on the matter.

ciao,
stefano

For the reviewers and myself 26th and 27th will be equally fine AM or PM.

Can you please pick a day, set up the virtual meeting and send me a link?

dear giorgio,

i sent the email yesterday night, supposing that the dates i was
proposing (good for me) were good enough for the rest of the team.

unfortunately that is not the case.

so the dates available for everybody here at token consortium are:

- 16th may in the morning

- 20th may

happy to hear from you.

Dear Giorgio,

unfortunately that day, and the day before, I have to be in Napoli to give
a FIWARE presentation to the local public authorities (including a bit of
token).

That week I can on 16th and on 20th

The week after I can on 26th and on 27th.

Hopefully any of those are fine with you.

Tomorrow anyhow we will have a project check meeting rehearsal and end of
this week you’ll get the interim progress report.

The best option as of now is may 19th.

I do hope this will work on your side too.

The agenda is fine.

dear giorgio,

forgot to add in the previous email a possible project check meeting
agenda. i understood from previous emails that you would like to keep
reasonably short (half day) so here is a proposal:

project overall status - stefano - 40 minutes

wp1 - lynda - 30 minutes

wp3 - kostas - 30 minutes

wp4 - judith - 30 minutes

wp5 - angeles - 30 minutes

wp6 - adnan - 30 minutes

presentations shall last half of the slot duration as to allow questions
from you and monitors.

as you can see there is no wp2 presentation as it ended 31st dec 2020. i
also did not provide time for the pucs as such. of course they are already
fully operational and demos can be shown if you like so. this might be
achieved either by extending the project check overall duration or by
taking away some other slots.

happy to hear your suggestions/requirements on the matter.

have a nice weekend :-)

apologises for the misunderstanding on the date for the project check.

my preferences are for 12th and 13th, with 5th, if needed, as plan b.

mr. dardier presentation was without presentation and, if i well remember,
the organisers recorded only the brainstorming part of the event. i'll
check from them what available.

Dear Stefano, thank you for the report.

I am particularly interested in the presentation from Mr Dardier. Is there
a PPT or a recording?

Regarding the 26th, I was under the impression we had agreed on this date
but there was clearly a misunderstanding.

I have asked the reviewers ‘availability and so far some suitable dates are
in May: 3rd, 5th, 12th or 13th.

Any preference from your side so that we can try to align?

Giorgio

observatory report as requested.

with this email i'd like to say that, as we did not get confirmation from
you and also taking into account that this weekend is orthodox easter and
two important partners are from greece, the project check workshop with
monitors is postponed.

we are happy to receive from you indications for a new date.

dear giorgio,

thank you for your kind email.

Hope the policy observatory of April 5th went well and wonder if there is a
report available about it.

it went quite well with very interesting presentations from the invited
speakers.

i'll ask demos for a proper report, here for your first glance please find
attached the presentation of mr. Dr. Joachim Schwerin (a colleague of yours
at the ec), and our overall slides. mr. Philippe Dardier made his
speech without slides.

Regarding the other issues:

I am ok with the proposals under points 2) and 3).

thank you

I agree there is no need for amendments for 3) and 4).

thank you

Thanks for confirming on the 26th, can you please propose a draft agenda?

please find it attached. besides, the even is in the toke-project.eu
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/toke-project.eu__;!!DOxrgLBm!GlR9KwmDHsv_CE04CKN8jfIb61yl8bTdVDp51OdVJ-jDWMC7FAgjufMDBlIZnNPtLwLCAaS8uZWwGStATtAnQbKk6L6qZZ0WyWuONL8$>
portal in the events section.

I’d rather have the operational meeting in the other half of the day. Form
the monitors side there is a slight preference for PM. Let me know if this
can work for the consortium too.

as you can see from the agenda the event is an event with all the speakers
already confirmed and, above all, is a joint event with the bling project.
so i'm afraid it cannot be shifted in the morning.

however, what i can propose is to have our operational meeting the day
after, on 27th, if for you and monitors it is more convenient. it can also
be on any other nearby day suitable for you.

Rp1 can be closed from my side, I’ll do it this week.

thank you

As this is not a full review, there is no need for it to correspond to a
reporting period. And in fact it does not.. so there will be no opening of
ay “RP2”

correct!

Thank you for preparing a brief high level report about management and
resource spending, though since this is not a review there is no payment
attached to it. Hence, there is no need for financial statements.

i suppose at wp level shall be enough. i also understand resource spending
shall be just effort spent, correct?

Finally, I’d invite the consortium to prefilling the Innovation Radar
questionnaire, here attached.

There is time until the end of the project to do it but perhaps you can
start to discuss internally on which innovations you’d like to include. It
would be actually good if these innovations to be identified by the 26th
meeting or in the immediate aftermath.

ok we will do it.

actually we made a first version for the review, at this point it will be
revised and made more complete.

ciao,

stefano

Best regards,

Giorgio

*Subject:* Project updates in 2022: status on 10 march 2022

dear giorgio,

following the updates the current status is:

1) end of march (either 31st march or 1st april) we will have pucs internal
demo as on 1st april all of them will be operational. actually puc-1 will
be launched and in operation next week.

2) concerning pucs, current doa says that wp3 will end in m36
while deliverables d3.2-5 are due in m30. we would like to propose the
following:

2.1) have a first version of the d3.2-5 on m30 as planned and an additional
version of d3.2, d3.3, and d3.5 on m36 so to be able to describe the
evolutions of the pucs (new eventual features and bug fixed). please note
that for puc-3 at the moment they do not plan to have a version 2.

3) concerning pucs assessment (wp4): given the above scenario and the fact
that currently d4.3 is foreseen on m32 (i.e. end of august), we would like
to propose the following:

3.1) all the pucs to provide a fist set of kpis measurements by 31st may

3.2) have an intermediate/draft analysis by august

3.3) all the pucs to provide a second bunch of measurements by
30th september

3.4) have the official delivery of d4.3 m36. it will contain the two
analyses so to be able to show the evolution in the adoption of the pucs.
i.e. d4.3 delayed from m32 to m36.

4) as per another thread with you, on 5th april we will have the third
policy observatory ws. on this event you might be directly contacted by
demos colleagues in case you consider viale to have other ec colleagues
attending. please note this is not a public event as it is by
invitation only. as for the other editions we plan for an attendance of
about 30 policy experts.

5) about the above 3 and 4 points i think there is no need for an amended
doa. anyhow happy to produce it if need it.

6) on 26th april the token-ling event is confirmed. it will be an open yet
virtual event where the two projects will share their outcomes and discuss
them with the attendees.

the event will last half-day so we are happy to have in the other half the
operational meeting you are envisaging or having it the following day or so.

7) i notice that on the system the two processes "project monitoring for
consortium" and "progress reporting" (for year 1) are still open.

now i'm wondering on how to proceed for year 2 which ended last 31st
december.

anyhow, i already asked the consortium to produce the ppr-y2 and related
financial statements, so to be ready as you need.

happy to hear at your earliest convenience.

have a nice weekend!

ciao,

stefano
