Dear partners,

Demos is planning the 5th and final Policy Observatory and we’d need to
start sending the invites this week. As we had very little time in the last
EBM and can’t wait until the next one, we’d like to propose this:

- Demos organizes a focused, invite-only, online workshop on November 1st.
- Participants: 8–15 public officials from cities that have been
implementing DLTs in public services. *From the consortium, this
would* *include
only the city partners of PUCs, so we want to check if this is OK for you*.
- We think it would be the most informative for our 5th Briefing Paper and
the forthcoming “TOKEN’s Learnings on public sector blockchains (D5.5)” if
this is a closed session where city officials can evaluate questions of
social inclusion and legal issues – something that was asked from TOKEN in
the review.
- As these are probably sensitive issues, we’d like to keep this small and
record the workshop only for Demos’ own use (i.e. writing the upcoming
publications).

*Please let us know latest this Wednesday end of day if you oppose our
plans or have suggestions you’d like us to consider!*

Kind regards,
Pinja, Jenny, Helmi and Johannes from Demos
