Dear colleagues,


With the ITS World Congress 2021 successfully concluded, I'd like to take a
moment to praise the wonderful job you have done for this event, both
remotely and on-site. It was a bit challenging, at first, due to COVID-19
regulations, but we made it! Our booth was one of the most attractive
exhibition spaces at the event and has driven incredible traffic and press
coverage. We are thrilled to be featured in the media coverages such as FAZ

Big thank you to the BoO for the overall guidance on strategy, event
delivery, and resources. Thank Ulrich for always being there with us and
feeding us well. We received a lot of compliments for having a cool (and
approachable) CEO 😎 *proud employee*


In particular, I want to express my gratitude to Cristina for giving me the
opportunity to lead this fair, together with my co-lead Max. Her wider
expertise and ability to act quickly have inspired me to bring the vision
to life professionally and thoroughly. I am very fortunate to have had
Cristina's guidance, support, and the opportunity to collaborate with the
whole FIWARE team on many different levels.


Thank Max for being with me throughout the preparation phase until the very
last day of the event. You did a fantastic job for the ITS, especially
leading the LEGO team to set up and present the model in the successful way
they did. You were a joyful presence on the booth, professionally guiding
potential new clients on why they should join us, as well as ensuring that
our co-exhibitors felt at ease at home.


And Henni and Marvyn, you are the stars of this show, and your willingness
to help out, any time, no questions asked, were very much appreciated, and
visitors were surely charmed by your outstanding bedside manners.


Thank Gernot and Dennis for your great company in and around the booth,
tech wisdom in the booth, and overall help until the very end. Thank you
for being hands-on, from booth tours to table cleaning to the coffee run,
you guys are getting the hang of live events.


Thank Val for coordinating communication, hands-on daily social media
posts, and press activities on-site and after the event. Producing a
corporate video <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wODRi4U5tHE> from scratch
with one and half day footage is undoubtedly a challenge, but you and Pedro
have nailed it.


And the on-site team could not have made it without many of you in the
backstage 'sort of speaking.' Giacomo, thank you for the awesome graphic
designs for the booth walls. Andrea, thanks for taking care of the invoices
and payments and your serene handling of things, no matter how urgent the
topic may have been. Tonia, Angeles, and Juanjo thank you for your overall
support on all things i4trust-related.


People often say that Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, and that's exactly
what happened on ITS.
