[ff-marketing] Marketing Info & Call for action: Starting with new Sponsorship activities

Dear all,

As a test balloon and to further make our members and partners aware of
brand extension opportunities, we will start "selling" a sponsorship for
our monthly and special newsletters starting with 500€ per month on a
quarterly contractual basis.

It would carry the text e.g. "proudly supported by...." or similar (here
below a German example with pwc).
It may be that nobody in these Covid-months will take it on, but then at
least it creates however the mindset that great and wide-reach brand
positioning has a price.

Let me propose the following approach:

   1. All: Do you have a specific company/organization in mind that could
   be interested already? Let us know!
   Could also be a media partner (*@Val*: maybe we can add FORBES for the
   very first month for "free" as part of the barter, meaning for July, and
   then sell to others? *@Tonia:* could also be a VC like Zabala or
   FundingBox)
   2. The Sponsor does not necessarily need to be a member.
   3. *@Charlotte & Val:* Please create together an email "offer" and a
   short text also for our monthly newsletter with the opportunity to sponsor
   - our monthly newsletter (all community and ecosystem and media
   partners....we should give a minimum number of target clients)
   - at least 3 special newsletters per month
   4. *@Giacomo & Quy:* please decide who could take it on to design a
   first dummy that we can use to add to the promo letter (meaning a fake logo
   with the text e.g. "This newsletter is proudly presented by" to showcase
   how it could look like.
   5. The pricing would be: 500€ per month on a quarterly basis (so 1,500€)
   - let's try it this way.
   (later on, we can make it 500€ for members and 1,000€ for non members).
   6. The logo & text would go to the top of each newsletter once
   contracted.
   7. Let's try to make it the very first one already with the newsletter
   going out end of this month.
   8. May I ask you to prepare these topics for next week's Marketing Call?
   9. For a contractual basis, I will involve *Stefano* (not copied yet)
   shortly.
   10. General lead: I would love to see this activity, once embarked,
   under the umbrella of "Business Partners" and therefore see Val with this.
   However, as we have not discussed it yet, it's a proposal to decide next
   week 😁
