[ff-marketing] Marketing News: upcoming Gold Member Call will be postponed (not the prep call on Friday)

Dear all,

As of a previous request to change and adopt the Gold Members Call, led by
the BoO (content and concept wise) to make it more attractive.

*@Val:* you can this message first with this mail, but it was a late joint
decision from yesterday's BoO full-day meeting.

*Why?*

   - We want to get those of our Gold Members who make part of the BoD to
   take a lead in certain areas and engage during the call prep phase with
   the Gold Members already,
   - Make the overall call much more interactive and member-driven, with
   FIWARE however holding the governance,
   - ==> This should give us the chance to have the participants grow over
   time,
   - We also want to collect Gold Members feedbacks and topics upfront and
   if possible always ahead of a BoD meeting (so, we can bring topics in
   there).
   - Gold Member Call should be, if possible after a BoD meeting, so we can
   bring in brand new decisions and hot topics.


*Dates: *
We have agreed to run the Gold Members Call every 3 months from now -
instead of the previous 2 months-rhythm from before.

   - Friday Feb 19: Prep call to decide for the format and specific member
   engagement
   Val will participate to this BoO Session at 16:30.
   - Next Gold Member Call will be March 22, 1-2 pm
   - *The Gold Member Call from upcoming Monday needs to be "cancelled",
   actually postponed. THANKS*

*Next steps: *

   - @Val: Please could you create some nice explaining world for the
   postponement? I would mentioned that we want to install the process for
   higher engagement and therefore not only give members a chance to feed us
   with topics, fears, ideas,...ahead of the next BoD meeting, but also allow
   hot news to flow directly from the BoD to the Gold Members Call?
   - Create a Google Form we can provide to the BoO & BoD Gold Members to
   send out to all Gold Members in order to fill in their thoughts ahead of
   each scheduled call.
   - Give this Gold Member Call a slightly new name to show we are starting
   a new "era".


*==> BoO decision:* "Stefano and Cristina to align with the Gold
representatives in the BoD".

Hope this is okay for all.
Next to do's can happen off-line and in a separate thread.

I feel this is already great ideas and decision to make our Gold Members
Call more efficient and attractive at the same time - and guarantee that we
are growing a community and that the BoO content comes in well ahead of
each call.
