[Fiware-administrative] FI-WARE: Partners withdrawing on M36 (*** IMPORTANT & URGENT ***)

Dear all,

I would like to share my view also:

We are already in parallel currently formulating some paragraphs/statements for the special role of the PPR in the DOW amendment already. That partners have tro contribute to Periodic Report, Reporting Period on NEF (FORM-C),  Audit, Payments. Always will be covered by CA, DOW, and dominantly by the need to adhere to governance when receiving public funding from EU. So I think such a letter would just stating something which is already covered by existing regulations.


Therefore I would propose that we instead of these letters (which aim to secure the cooperation of leaving partners after M36) insert some appropriate statements into the DOW. For example, we from SAP Side, we would currently unless convinced otherwise like to not write such a letter because we believe the DOW amendment is exactly the right place for such agreements between consortium partners among us and the EC. We can define regulations for PPR, but then in the Dow amendment 6. The letter, addressed to coordinator, would not help much since consortium partners have committed to coordinator and to EC that they fulfill their obligations.

Therefore a new paragraph defining whatever we define for PPR activities after M36 can be inserted. If we can choose to insert into DOW Amendment (where it belongs) and avoid such letters, we should quickly converge on such statements for the special deliverable PPR.

BTW currently it is not agreed among us that PPR is an activity "beyond M36" that cannot be fulfilled/contributed until M36 by leaving partners, but I see also your intention to ensure that partners should not just stop paying attention to the PPR which is planned for M40 deliverly. So we need to decide on this and I see your mail as a proposal currently. But all partners must be aware the coordination of the PPR is a difficult exercise and that coordinator needs the cooperation from each partner even beyond M36. My point is only that they are obliged anyhow to this cooperation - without such a letter.

A statement of withdrawal is not needed also since exactly the DOW is needed for this (as far as I see it). So here I would like to ask for which purpose such a letter is needed?

Dear all, Javier,

I'm not a jurist or admin person but Isn't it strange that the ones that are in fact following the initial plan (ie: 36 months project) have to send a letter to confirm that they are finishing as planned whereas the ones that are asking for an extension have not ?
I understand the Amendment 6 will list the companies that are not asking for an extension ? Isn't it the ones asking for an extension that need to be in the amendment ???

-          Periodic Report.

-          Reporting Period on NEF (FORM-C).

-          Audit.

-          Payments.
