dear marco,

this is really a tricky and critical question as we do expect this to
happen.

my overall answer is yes, but of course this need, in terms of the
proposal, to be very well justified (e.g. why the need for a new gei - sw
limitations, peformances ... -, which are the expected benefits, how much
does it cost).

of course to be then deployed in the catalogue this new gei needs to pass
all the testing phases foreseen for the ge and to provide clear "terms and
conditions".

in addition also the business impact of the need for a new gei needs to be
well defined ...
