Thanks a lot for you answer.

So, in case there will be some GEi proposals, a “very strong” justification and discussion shall be included; anyway, can we consider as valid such proposals inside the FIWARE Acceleration Programme? Are they at the same level/value of “normal” projects submitted to accelerators? Is the same thing for a new Generic Enabler (Open API Specifications)?

Sorry if my questions are not clear…

dear marco,

this is really a tricky and critical question as we do expect this to happen.

my overall answer is yes, but of course this need, in terms of the proposal, to be very well justified (e.g. why the need for a new gei - sw limitations, peformances ... -, which are the expected benefits, how much does it cost).

of course to be then deployed in the catalogue this new gei needs to pass all the testing phases foreseen for the ge and to provide clear "terms and conditions".

in addition also the business impact of the need for a new gei needs to be well defined ...

First of all, let me wish to all of you a great start for a new year.

I just received a question from the accelerator I’m following: they are asking about the procedure to follow for a new GE implementation.
I suggested to have a look at the dedicated page in the catalogue (http://catalogue.fi-ware.org/process).
Am I correct while saying that new GE implementation is not part of the FIWARE Acceleration Programme?

Other question: can someone (startups, SMEs) propose and submit a completely new GE and related implementation?
