We would like to remind you about an existing opportunity to join FIWARE
Foundation at *the Smart and Secure Cities and Communities Challenge
(GCTC-SC3) Expo

from
February 20th to 22nd 2019 in Washington DC, USA.

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and U.S. Department
of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) are
working together with a number of federal agencies, local governments,
industry and academic stakeholders towards a goal to make it *the largest
smart city and community event hosted by the US federal government*. Over
100 cities and communities around the world are expected. The Expo is an
opportunity for action clusters working with municipal governments to show
off their accomplishments and to share the best practices and leverage each
other’s investment.

The costs and staffing of the FIWARE stand will be based on a shared cost
basis. Such services as carpeting, power supply, internet, electrical needs
(cables, extension cords, etc) *should be paid by each co-exhibiting
party.* The
FIWARE Foundation is not able to cover these costs for the partners. *You
