Dear all,

Here are few slides as an introduction to VTT platform. In the end of the slide set we present two options for integrating VTT platform to FI-WARE:

- The first is about implementation of VTT Context Provider connected to FI-WARE Context Broker.

- The second option is implementation of Context Broker in the VTT platform and connecting it to the FI-WARE Context Broker. See slides 11 and 12.

We are planning that we could start with the option 1 and after that is ready, we may start implementing option 2 if needed. What do you think?

Other questions that we have:

- Is the only difference between Context Producer and Context Provider that Context Provider provides ability to be queried context data?

- Should the messages (e.g. updateContext) be in contextML format or are other data formats supported?

- Based on the project plan, we are supposed to create some kind of reference application (that is context consumer) using the data? Is that application supposed to run on FI-lab?

Best Regards,

Timo and Markku
