Hi Heikki,
Please find enclosed the template of the letter we are proposing to cities connecting to FI-Lab.
The first and last paragraph (overall last paragraph) should be kept as much as possible as they are written. The last paragraph has to do with the statement that our PO required. Second and Third paragraph are mostly informative. They are there to explain the city that a) FI-WARE specifications are open (public and royalty-free) so they shouldn't have any concern about that and b) the opportunities that FI-Lab may bring to local entrepreneurs.
You can of course accomodate the writing a little bit but the spirit and mostly the statements in the last paragraph should be there. Of course, the letter should come with some logo or stamp from the municipality as well as signature so that our PO can consider it valid.

The two important questions to be covered in the support letter to be provided by the Espoo city are the following:
* That the city of Espoo will provide the necessary support to ease the activities to be carried out regarding publication of open data from Espoo on FI-Lab (this is because essentially will have to provide access to their open data or systems publishing such open data).
* That the city acknowledges that open data to be published on FI-Lab will be made available to entrepreneurs for free experimentation.
We will try to come with some template letter along today, but don't wait for us if that may put in risk getting the letter signed this week.

* AP on VTT: to confirm that publication of open data by the Espoo city relies on the CKAN platform.
* AP on Juanjo: to send invitation to confcall on Tuesday 18 (done, I have invited Heikki so he can forward this invitation to anyone else on VTT side)

You can start already despite the contract has not been closed.
Our PO has agreed to include VTT to cover connection of Espoo to FI-Lab. The costs incurred since the date we agree would be justifiable even in the case that the contract is signed later.
I would suggest that we setup a confcall (let's book 1h30m) to discuss on detailed next steps to kick-off the activity.
My agenda is pretty crowded this week but I propose the following slots (all to be 1h30m long) next week:
* Tuesday Feb 11, any slot that starts anytime between 09:00am CET until 11:30.
* Wednesday Feb 12, starting at 12:00pm CET or at any slot that starts anytime after 15:00 CET
* Thursday Feb 13, any slot that starts anytime between 09:00am CET until 11:30 or it starts anytime after 15:00 CET
