[FIWARE-Foundation-Legal-TaskForce] FIWARE: Status regarding the founding meeting in Berlin

Dear all,

this is to give a final status for today to you:

I recieved the German translation of the bylaws from Claire today, reviewed them and send my comments back to Claire.

It has been clarified now that we do need minimum seven diefferent people present in Berlin fort he founding meeting.
Waiting for the final approval oft he German lawyer this will be on Tuesday of next week at 13:00 in his office.

This would bring us tot he next proposal for signees tob e present in Berlin next week:


                                       i.    BoD members:

1.    Hubert Tardieu, Atos

2.    Rosalía Simon Navarro, Telefonica

3.    Dario Avallone, Engineering

4.    Patrice Slupowski, Orange

                                     ii.    Companies authorized representatives:

1.    Telefonica Digital Spain (tbd, maybe someone from Telefonica in Berlin who get the DOA)

2.    Atos Germany (Ulrich Ahle to get the DOA from Winfried Holz)

3.    Engineering Spa (Stefano de Panfilis will anyhow be in Germany the next day and could be in Berlin on Tuesday; get a DOA from Orazio Viele?)

4.    Orange SA (tbd)


We are still waiting for the final statement from the German lawyer regarding the format of the Delegation of Authority. (When founding the Industrial Data Space earlier this year I signed on behalf of Atos with a DOA signed by our German CEO Winfried Hoz, which was sufficient).

Dear colleagues,

this ist o summarize the different mails from today and to give you an update on the status:

Claire worked over the weekend with the lawyers to prepare the required documents. We will get the documents for Delegation of Authority by end of today. I will also get the German translation of the bylaws for review.
I decided not to go for Wednesday of this week for the founding meeting in Berlin as the remaining timeframe is too risky.

I asked Claire to check the availability of the lawyer and his location for Tuesday September 13th at 13:00 in Berlin.

Please find also the answer from Claire to some oft he questions from Thursday of last week attached to this mail.

As soon as the lawyer confirmed the meeting next week I will let you know.

Last options from Paris on the 7th :
07:35/09:15 to Berlin and 15:35/17:20 to Paris (AFR)
08:45/10:25 to Berlin and 18:20/20:05 to Paris (on Airberlin) for the full day only.
10:10/11:50 to Berlin and 15:35/17:20 to Paris (AFR)

So a meeting at 13:00 would be ideal for Hubert and myself at least.
